This 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF (also known as ND2) is finished in Jet Black metallic paint (code 41W) over a black interior with red stitching, and powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, 17” gunmetal wheels, Bilstein dampers, front strut bar, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, a 7″ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and heated Recaro sport seats. The car was purchased new by the seller in May 2019 from the official Mazda dealer in Bozen, Italy. This ND Miata now has 29,000 km, is registered in Italy and checking the Italian car registry shows no issue.
The car is finished in Jet Black metallic paint (41W) matched by a black rear diffuser (showing some minor scratches), mirror caps, front splitter, and side sill extensions. The hood and trunk lid are made of aluminum, and the RF model features a fastback roofline with a power-retractable hardtop that folds into its compartment without taking away any luggage space in the trunk. Exterior lighting is provided by front and rear LEDs.
Its 17” wheels are finished in gunmetal color and wrapped in 205/45 Bridgestone Potenza tires and have a few very typical sidewalk marks. Some minor scratches can be also found on the right front diffuser, on the left front bumper and on the rear diffuser (all scratches have been photographed); also the fixed section of the roof shows a small (ca. 1 cm) white mark, allegedly there since the car was delivered.
The interior appears to be in pristine conditions. The cockpit features heated Recaro sport seats with speakers in the headrests, body-color upper door trim, and a removable cupholder that can be stationed on the side of the center stack or the rear of the center console. A nine-speaker Bose sound system is present, and the Mazda Connect infotainment system features a 7″ touchscreen with navigation as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, originally an option. Driving aids consist of a rearview camera, a lane-departure warning system, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
The leather-wrapped tilting and telescoping (only available on the latter versions of the ND2) steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 150-mph speedometer in addition to a 4.6″ color LCD display. The odometer indicates 29,000 km.
The Skyactiv-G 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four features electronic fuel injection with variable valve timing and was factory rated at 181 horsepower (184 PS) and 205 N⋅m of torque; peak power is achieved at 7000 rpm, while peak torque arrives lower at 4000 rpm. Since the FY19 version this engine has had the power increased to 184 PS from 160 PS and the redline pushed all the way to 7500 rpm up from 6800 rpm. Shock-tower braces are bolted to the cowl.
Power is supplied to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission with a torque-sensing limited-slip differential.
