This 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Sedan, coming in Dark Gray Metallic over Black Leather and alcantara, was purchased at the beginning of 2021 by its current owner with just 38000 kms on the odometer and has been thoroughly kept in RSM ever since, taken care of in the most fatherly way possible. Being the fantastic performance car it is, what’s stopping you to have it as your favourite Sunday commute?
Designed as typical flat-four mechanics, the STI couples its 2.5-Litre, 305-hp turbocharged engine solely with a six-speed manual transmission, with SI-Drive included, allowing the driver to properly tune the throttle response while the all-wheel drive (AWD) system’s multiple modes can tailor various aspects, such as lockup for any situation or simply choose random center-differential locking levels manually.
Externally, this semi-pristine looking Impreza WRX STI comes with standard equipment including Brembo Brakes, a rear spoiler, quad-exhaust outlets and 18” BBS alloy wheels, over Dynacontrol Evergreen EU728, 245/40ZR18.
Paintwork and exterior trim can be appreciated in detail in the photo gallery. The seller reports that the front bumper shows minor signs of chips and scrapes due to rocks.
Internally, the cabin, highlighting bolstered seats with black leather and black alcantara Inserts, shows almost no sign of use, as the red stitching and STI embroidery look nearly new.
A distinctive feature of the STI is the multi-function steering wheel, with red STI instrumentation that includes an 8000-rpm tachometer and an extended speedometer. The digital odometer shows just under 39000 km. Additional equipment include automatic climate control and Bluetooth connectivity.
As to the mechanics, the turbocharged and intercooled DOHC has undergone a steel manifold upgrade but hasn’t received further modifications. In addition to the Bilstein Suspensions’ set-up, the purchase of this car includes the Subaru’ stock set-up and manifolds.
The vendor states this STI last underwent a check-up during april 2020, when the timing belt and gears were serviced at precisely 33079 km, as shown in the gallery.
Originally sold as new in the Republic of San Marino, the second and current owner purchased it in April 2021 and always stored it indoors, in controlled climate.
Given the good condition this car shows, the perfect maintenance history and the brief distance covered, the purchase will ultimately include the entire brochure set, user’s and owner’s manual, the original pair of keys, ownership and maintenance documentation and stock parts.
