In model year 1994 the 964 range was replaced by the 993 range. This was a considerable evolution not only from a technical point of view, but also from an aesthetic point of view. The front fenders of the 993 Carrera were wider and flatter. When the luggage compartment was shortened, the black rubber lip, which was the joint between the bodyshell and the front bumper in the G-model and the 964, disappeared. The rear fenders were also wider in shape and extended linearly to the rear with the rear light cluster set higher. The 993 was initially available in rear-wheel drive Coupé and Cabriolet versions. In model year 1995, the all-wheel drive versions Carrera 4 and 911 Turbo with a disc viscous clutch followed, while in model years 1996/97 the Carrera 4S and Carrera S followed. The drive of the Carrera and Targa models was entrusted to a new 3.6-liter engine with an initial power output of 272 hp, and starting with the 1996 model year, 285 hp.
The model we present to you is a Porsche 993 Carrera S registered in Germany for the first time in 1996, in fact the car has a new Italian license plate (FS XXX XX), it is equipped with the famous 4-speed Triptronic automatic gearbox which makes it a very comfortable and versatile car also for city use, currently the car has 101,000 km on the speedometer, it is registered in the ASI historical register.
