• The RS2 is the product of an historical collaboration between Audi and Porsche, with the car final assembly taking place at the Porsche plant in Zuffenhausen. Porsche was responsible of improving the engine (here delivering 311 HP), fitting Porsche-designed braking and suspension systems, 993-generation door mirrors, and 993 bumper-mounted front indicators
• This RS2 is finished in the rare shade of Amethyst Gray over an interior trimmed in black leather, with Recaro sports seats and punctuated by carbon fiber trims
• It rides on a non-standard set of 18-inch original Porsche 'Turbo Twist' alloy wheels, framed red Porsche brake calipers and fitted with Yokohama Advan Fleva tyres
• Factory specifications include headlight washers, heated rear window, Audi original anti-theft alarm with remote control, front and rear power windows, Recaro electrically adjustable and heated front seats, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable door mirrors. Additional equipment includes: oil temperature, oil pressure and battery voltage indicators mounted on the center console, a Turbo pressure gauge, well integrated and visible on the left A-pillar
• The car has been modified with a black Audi emblem on the front grille instead of the original chromed item, a de-badged tailgate, air ducts instead of the original front fog lights, a more modern Alpine stereo with DAB+, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, carbon fiber engine ancillary covers, and Samco silicone hoses
• The car will come with its user manuals in a black leather wallet, complete with the stamped maintenance booklet

CONDITIONS

• Seller notes a previous small dent that required repainting on the rear bumper and the rear passenger side door was replaced due to corrosion on the original panel
• The Amethyst Gray pearlescent paint has been completely repainted and is described as in very good overall condition, although there are some small stone chips on the front bumper
• Inside, the cab is presented in good condition, although the seller notes that the steering wheel, driver's seat backrest and door panels have been refinished. There is also some wear on the gear knob, blemishes on the steering wheel badge and creases on the seats
• The airbag warning light flashes intermittently, even if there is no known defect with the airbags following a diagnosis by Audi Italia
• The last ministerial review took place on 27 January 2021, with a positive outcome

SERVICE HISTORY

• Last scheduled service has been performed in February 2021 at 258,041 km; the distribution belt has been changed, as well as the thermostat and new tyres have been fitted
• The engine and other core parts of the car have been renewed in 2017
