1972 Citroen - Maserati SM

The Citroen SM is a large coupe resulting from the collaboration between Citroen and Maserati. The heart, a prestigious 2.7L V6 of Italian origins, guarantees performance that rivals the sports cars of the time in total comfort, which only Citroens can offer. The double chevron coupe was a real status symbol at the time, many musical artists and footballers in fact had a Citroen SM in their garage.

The car that we are offering you for auction in 2019 has undergone a complete restoration at the Vertuani workshop in Pavia, specialized in Citroen DS and SM. The restoration, which lasted 2 years, included all the hydraulic, mechanical and aesthetic parts with new paint and interiors. Subsequently the car has not been used anymore but is started and maintained on a regular basis. To make this car even more precious the manual gearbox and the 3 Weber twin choke carburettors.
